my new comic

page one, panel 17-18.

show this however you want. a “clean up crew” is transported ala star trek into the class room. the class is shocked. they raise their rifles at the students.

and BAM.

end of page.

page one, panel 16.

something similar to the first panel. maybe a wider rectangle. brian and his brianjet swoosh past the camera. he holds a radio transceiver in his hand. this should look like a totally cool hero shot.

brian - “Sorry to say we’re going to need another clean up crew, coordinates 15 delta, bravo 36 gamma”.

radio - “roger that, agent atwood!”

now, i’m writing this down the same way i have it in my notes and outline, but take whatever creative visual freedoms you want with it.

page one, panels 13-15.

the desk transforms into a tiny single person jet and blast through the ceiling, debris flying everywhere.

page one, panel 12.

again, a small action, so a small panel.

brian hits a small red button on his desk.

page one, panel 11.

Brian - “I’m not asking!”

page one, panel 10.

the teacher responds.

“BRIAN ATWOOD! You’ll take your seat this instant! If you have something you’d like to say, you’ll raise your hand like the rest of the students, and wait to be called on!”

page one, panel 9.

the entire class silently stares at brian, stunned by the intensity of his outburst.

no dialogue.

page one, panel 8.

brian, with exaggerated urgency, stands up and shouts…

“MRS. POLINSKY! I NEED TO BE EXCUSED IMMEDIATELY! THERE’S SOMETHING I NEED TO DO!!”

i’m not really sure the best way to show this, so feel free to share any ideas. this is how i wrote it in my outline. maybe do this as a series of smaller panels. the actions are pretty quick and unimportant, so small panels would work well.

page one, panels 5-7.

brian sees that he has an incoming text message. he raises an eyebrow at this. the message is then displayed.

“don’t forget to let fluffy out for tinkle when you get home snookums. love, mom.”

page one, panel four.
a shot of brian’s iphone, in his hand. he’s reading the huffington post (or some other lefty website). make sure it looks like a little kid’s hand holding the ipod and not a normal sized hand.
